Monday 25th April 2022 saw many of the countywide SPLWs meet together face-to-face for the first time in over two years!

The day was set in the Limehouse Yoga studios and included CPD elements for staff as well as some time for some relaxation tips and the opportunity to network with colleagues.

  • Input was well received from Rachel Wigglesworth, Director of Public Health, looking at the success and future of Social Prescribing;
  • Andy Brelsford, Volunteer Cornwall – explaining about the development of Health and Wellbeing Hubs in the communities;
  • Jayne Howard – ArtsWell and Zentangling – how this can support your wellbeing;
  • Juliet Ferris (NHSE & Primary Care Network) & Emma Rowse (NHSE) – future trends and development for Social Prescribing;
  • Natalie Brown from Seetec Pluss, gave an update on their programme;
  • Andy Craze and Marc Walsh from Active Plus on the Armed Forces SPLW service;
  • And finally, some relaxation tips from Jock at the Studios!
