Cornwall Social Prescribing Network Meeting - 9th November

We held our Cornwall SP Network meeting last week which was attended by 75 people.

The first one in three years.

The session was very busy with networking opportunities, plenty of enthusiasm and input from a variety of speakers looking at the local, national and regional picture for Social Prescribing, its growth, and continuing development.

Every Mind Matters

On Wednesday 2 November 2022, Stress Awareness Day will be highlighting the ways that stress can affect people and what you can do to manage your stress before it becomes a problem. Millions around the UK experience stress and it is damaging to our health and wellbeing.

Better Health - Every Mind Matters has a range of resources both printed and digital to help you share simple steps to tackle stress and improve mental wellbeing on the Campaign Resource Centre (CRC).

Social Prescribing Spotlight

The fantastic work carried out by Social Prescribing Link Workers (SPLW) continues across the County, with staff reporting they are as busy as ever!

There are now 40 Social Prescribing Link Workers who cover the majority of the GP surgeries plus 6 Social Prescribing Community Development Workers, based in the community.
